Maruman Sushi Honten – Osaka Japanese Sushi Restaurant

Great lil sushi spot - my and my partner popped in for a beer and the original large roll. Great snack before we carried on it’s definitely big enough to share between 2 people. They also have a lot of fresh produce aswell! If we were stopping longer I’d of gone for one of their taster sets!

Fantastic Sushi!! Sashimi and many other japanese specialities were all incredibly delicious . We wanted to try something traditional and although it seems to be in a touristic, it was full of only japanese people inside. Mesmerizing experience watching the chef preparing the sushi pieces for us. We had a set that included soup and starters too and worth the price A place to go if you want to have a memorable experience Staff was super nice with us and they had English menu to help us to deciding what to eat

This was my first visit. This sushi restaurant is said to be the origin of Fujio Food System, which operates “Maido Ookini Shokudo”. When you enter the store, there is a counter on the right and table seats on the left. I sat at the counter and ordered a variety of sushi and boiled fish. The photo shows the "5-piece omakase" set. All the dishes were above average in taste. Recommended for those who want to experience a typical Japanese sushi restaurant. This is a place that foreign tourists should also try.

Very good sushis with friendly staff. Price is reasonable. Not a touristic place with English menu.

歴史を感じさせる落ち着いた雰囲気の寿司店で、地元の人々に長年愛されてきた名店です。お店自体も天神橋筋商店街の中でも落ち着いた雰囲気の方にあります。ちなみに私はこのエリア、南森町側の方が好き。 店内はカウンター席が中心で、板前さんの手さばきを間近で見ながら食事が楽しめ、ひとりでもグループでも入りやすい雰囲気でした。 ランチでいただいた握り寿司は、ネタの鮮度が高く、シャリとのバランスも絶妙で、ひとつひとつ丁寧に握られているのがわかります。ネタの内容が内容ではありますが、ランチとして考えるとコスパも非常に良く十分に満足できるボリュームです。 ここでは回転寿司とは違う本格的な味を手軽に楽しめるのが魅力。特に、中央市場から毎朝仕入れるという魚の新鮮さは、味のクオリティを支える大きなポイントです。 実は、創業戦後間もない昭和22年で元は「丸万食堂」としてスタートした歴史があります。長年培った地元密着の仕入れルートと確かな技術が、安心感と味わいの両方を実現しているのでしょう。こういった昔ながらの雰囲気を注ぐ店はやはりこの商店街の代名詞とも言っていいくらい貴重だと思うんです。 丸万寿司は歴史と味を感じながら、肩肘張らずに本格握りを楽しめるお店。天満で寿司ランチを考えるなら、ぜひ立ち寄りたい信頼できる名店です。

はじめて丸万寿司 本店さんに伺いました。 天神橋筋商店街の中でもすごく老舗で雰囲気に釣られて入店しました。 スタッフの方も皆さん優しくて、お寿司を握る職人さん達も良かったです!! 今回はランチで伺いました。 さしみ定食 ￥1.000(税込) ぶり大根定食 ￥900(税込)を注文させて頂きました。 値段の安さにビックリ!!!! 注文した商品が来てビックリ!!!! 値段に合わない美味しさ、ボリュームでまたビックリしました(笑) 次回は夜の部で行きたいお店ですね。 ごちそうさまでした。
